The Invicta Automatic Pallet Forks (Model IPF) effectively convert an overhead crane into a pallet-moving tool. Designed for applications where fork trucks cannot operate due to lack of floor space — for example, high-rise developments — the crane forks are equipped with adjustable fork widths, adjustable height and an automatic spring-loaded balancing system. A pre-fitted safety net frame is included (net supplied separately). Available with 1000mm and 1200mm fork lengths rated to 2000kg. Manufactured in Leeds by Invicta Forks & Attachments.

Suitable Applications

The IPF is essential for high-rise construction sites, multi-storey buildings, confined industrial spaces and any application where a forklift cannot access the area. Common uses include delivering palletised building materials to upper floors via tower crane, moving pallets in machinery-congested factories and loading/unloading in tight dock areas.

How to Use the Automatic Pallet Forks

1. Attach the crane hook to the lifting eye of the pallet forks.
2. Adjust fork width using the thumbscrews to suit the pallet.
3. Manually position the forks to enter the pallet using the rear handles.
4. Insert forks fully into the pallet.
5. Place the safety strap around the load and secure.
6. Lift the pallet clear and slide the restraint net underneath, attaching to the six net hoops.
7. Transport to the desired position, lower and release.

Warning: Always use a restraint net when lifting overhead. Do not shock load. Ensure the safety strap is secured before lifting.
