Suitable Applications
Ideal for construction sites, builders merchants and industrial environments where regular overhead lifting is required from a forklift truck. The carriage-mounted design provides a more rigid and dedicated solution compared to fork-mounted alternatives.
A jib suspends the load, which makes the work a lifting operation with the examination and planning that follows. Where the load can be carried on the tines instead, fork extensions or brick forks avoid that entirely.
Inspection and Maintenance
Inspect regularly with particular attention to all weld points, lifting eyes, pivot points and any signs of deformation or corrosion. Certified for six months from manufacture — thorough examination under LOLER 1998 required every 6 months.
