Yale AYS piston plates are accessories for YS cylinders that screw into the piston thread to reduce the surface pressure on the load and prevent the piston from sinking into soft ground. Three sizes: AYS-102 (for YS-10), AYS-152 (for YS-15), and AYS-232 (for YS-23).

Reduces surface pressure on loads and prevents piston sinking

Yale documentation describes the piston plate as screwed into the piston thread of YS cylinders. The plates reduce the surface pressure and prevent the pistons from sinking into the ground. Yale notes that when using a piston plate with a lifting claw, the cylinder must still be supported against the load.

Suitable Applications

Per Yale: reducing surface pressure on loads, preventing piston sinking on soft ground, and protecting the load surface from concentrated point loading.

Cylinders need a matched pump and hose and coupler set — pressure rating and coupler type must agree across the whole circuit before anything is ordered.

Pallet Delivery

All rentals are delivered and collected by the WOLFF Onsite team. We'll confirm a delivery time that works for you and arrange collection within 3 working days of your hire end date. Deliveries and collections between 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, Saturday collections can be arranged if suitable.

Dispatch Times
Orders placed by 1pm are dispatched same day where possible. Some products carry a manufacturing lead time, this is always stated in the product description.
