Armorgard Forma-Stor FR300-T

Flat-Pack Walk-In Storage Container | 3m Deep | 470kg | CE Marked | Twin 5-Lever Deadlocks

The Armorgard Forma-Stor FR300-T is a flat-pack, walk-in secure storage container that assembles in as little as 10 minutes. The 3-metre deep unit offers substantial storage capacity for larger projects while retaining the quick-assembly, modular design that makes the Forma-Stor range ideal for restricted access sites. Built from galvanised and powder-coated steel panels with jemmy-proof joins, twin 5-lever deadlocks, forklift pockets and crane lifting eyes.

Key Features

  • Assembles in approximately 10 minutes - galvanised steel panels slot together quickly using standard tools, with no welding or specialist equipment required.
  • Twin 5-lever deadlocks - keyed alike with heavy-duty keys for robust security on site.
  • Jemmy-proof joins - panel connections are designed to resist forced entry attempts.
  • Crane lifting eyes - four integrated lifting points allow the assembled unit to be repositioned by crane (unit must be empty when lifted).
  • Forklift pockets - integrated skids for transportation via forklift or pallet truck.
  • Galvanised and powder-coated finish - weather-resistant construction suitable for outdoor site use.
  • Flat-pack storage - panels can be stacked flat when not in use, saving space during transport and storage.
  • Stackable when assembled - units can be stacked up to two high when empty.
  • 3m depth - provides generous walk-in storage space suitable for larger tools, equipment, and bulk materials.

CE Marked - Serial Numbered & Warranty Protected

Every Forma-Stor is CE marked and serial numbered for security and overnight key replacement. Armorgard products are built in the UK and come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty covering defects in workmanship. Replacement keys and locks are available for up to five years from purchase.

Suitable Applications

The FR300-T is designed for larger construction projects requiring substantial secure storage capacity. The 3-metre depth accommodates longer materials such as pipe, conduit, and scaffolding components alongside standard tools and equipment. The flat-pack design means the FR300-T can be delivered to sites where traditional containers cannot access, including upper floors of buildings under construction, basement excavations, and locations with narrow or restricted entry points. Ideal for commercial construction, infrastructure projects, and multi-trade sites requiring shared secure storage.

How to Assemble the Forma-Stor FR300-T

  1. Place the base panel on a flat, level, stable surface.
  2. Position one side panel on the base and use the 20mm bolts to locate it, then secure with 45mm bolts. Leave fixings loose at this stage.
  3. Position the rear panel to form a corner, supporting the side panel. Fix with pipe linchpins and 20mm bolts.
  4. Place the second side panel and secure with bolts and linchpins as before.
  5. Slot the door panel onto the base and fix to the side panels with linchpins and bolts.
  6. Place the roof panel on top, ensuring the grooves fit securely to the top of each wall panel.
  7. Fix the roof in place using the 45mm bolts provided, then tighten all bolts throughout the unit.

Warning:
The roof panel weighs 76kg and the base panel weighs 143kg. Take all safety precautions when lifting panels into position. Two or more people are required for assembly, and mechanical lifting aids are recommended for heavier panels.

Safety Information

  • Carry out a risk assessment before assembling or using the Forma-Stor.
  • At least two people are required to erect or dismantle the unit. Wear appropriate PPE during assembly.
  • The Forma-Stor must be positioned on a flat, solid, level surface before use.
  • Always lock the unit when not in use or out of sight. Do not leave keys inside when locking.
  • The unit must be empty before lifting by crane or forklift.
  • Check that all parts are in good condition before each use. Inspect bolts, locks, forklift pockets, and lifting eyes every three months.
  • Keep hands clear when closing the door to avoid injury.
  • Always check that no personnel remain inside before locking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long does the Forma-Stor FR300-T take to assemble?

The FR300-T can be assembled in approximately 10 minutes by two people using standard tools (19mm spanner or socket, impact driver). No welding or specialist equipment is required, though mechanical lifting aids are recommended for the heavier panels.

Q: Is the Forma-Stor weatherproof?

The Forma-Stor is weather-resistant with a galvanised and powder-coated finish, making it suitable for outdoor site use. However, it is not fully waterproof. Equipment susceptible to water damage should be stored on shelves or sealed appropriately.

Q: Can the Forma-Stor be stacked?

Yes. Forma-Stor units can be stacked up to two storeys high when empty. This applies to both assembled units and flat-packed panels.

Q: Can I get replacement keys for the Forma-Stor?

Yes. Every Forma-Stor is serial numbered, and Armorgard can cut replacement keys using this serial number. Replacement keys and locks are available for products up to five years old.
