More About This Product

The Invicta Low Profile Jib (Model ILP) allows the movement of long and awkward loads from inaccessible locations when height is at a premium. With 5 different lifting centres from 500mm to 1750mm, the low-profile design sits flat on the forks to maximise available headroom. Supplied with a swivel hook and bow shackle, the ILP features four-way pocket entry for ease of storage. Available in five capacities from 1000kg to 4000kg. Manufactured in Leeds by Invicta Forks & Attachments.

Suitable Applications

The ILP is suited to low-ceiling warehouses, mezzanine areas, container operations and height-restricted environments where a standard jib would be impractical.

A jib suspends the load, which makes the work a lifting operation with the examination and planning that follows. Where the load can be carried on the tines instead, fork extensions or brick forks avoid that entirely.

How to Use the Low Profile Jib

  1. Position forks and remove heel pins.
  2. Drive forks into pockets and insert heel pins.
  3. Position the hook at the desired lifting centre.
  4. Attach load and lift vertically.

Warning:

Only make vertical lifts. Do not shock load. Do not exceed the rated capacity at each lifting position.

Safety Information

  • Ensure heel pins are correctly fitted.
  • Only make vertical lifts.
  • Do not shock load.

Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect weekly. Certified for six months from manufacture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When should I choose the ILP over the ILEP?

Choose the ILP when you don't need extending capability — it's lighter and more compact. Choose the ILEP when you need the extending boom for greater reach.
