The Raptor Hydraulic Rotational Toe Jack is a compact hydraulic jack with a housing that revolves through 360°, so the pump lever can be worked from whichever side has room. It lifts on both foot and head, with capacities of 5,000 kg, 10,000 kg and 25,000 kg.
It is a strong choice for heavy machinery installation where access is restricted on one side. The foot lift starts as low as 25mm on HM50, and lowering speed can be adjusted accurately for setting a load down onto skates or packing. Download the datasheet on this page for the full HM50, HM100, HM250 figures.
Key Features
- 360° rotating housing — lets the operator pump from the most convenient side
- Foot and head lifting — foot range from 25mm and head range up to 720mm depending on model
- Accurate lowering — lowering speed can be adjusted for controlled set-down
- Overload protection — protects the jack against overloading
- Removable pump lever — for transport, storage and working in tight spaces
- Compact and stable — can be used in any position

Work Equipment | PUWER 1998
Part of the Raptor range, supplied by WOLFF Onsite. If you need a certificate of conformity or test certificate with your order, let us know when you order and we will confirm what can be supplied.
Suitable Applications
Machinery moving and installation, lifting presses and machine tools onto skates, levelling plant on foundations, heavy fabrication and shipbuilding, power station and utilities maintenance, and rigging work where the jack has to be operated from an awkward side.
How to Use
- Check the load at the lift point is within the jack capacity
- Place the jack on a firm, level surface with the foot fully under the load
- Rotate the housing so the pump lever faces the side with clear access
- Fit the removable lever and pump to raise the load
- Pack or support the load before working near it
- Set the lowering speed and lower the load gently onto skates or packing
Safety Information
- Do not rely on overload protection as a way of finding the load weight
- Engage the foot fully under the load to avoid it slipping off
- Keep hands clear of the foot and load contact point
- Use packing or stands to support the load, never the jack alone
- Remove the lever when not pumping to avoid trips and knocks
- Do not use the jack to raise people or as a working platform
Inspection and Maintenance
Before use check for hydraulic leaks, damage to the foot and head, and smooth rotation of the housing. Confirm the jack holds pressure under load and that the lowering control works. As lifting equipment under LOLER 1998 it needs a thorough examination at least every 12 months, and any leaking or creeping jack should be withdrawn.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does the rotational housing do?
The housing revolves through 360°, so the pump lever can be operated from whichever side gives the best access.
Q: How low is the foot?
The lifting range of the foot starts at 25mm on HM50, 30mm on HM100 and 58mm on HM250.
Q: Can I control the lowering speed?
Yes, lowering speed can be adjusted accurately, which helps when setting a load down onto skates.
Q: How heavy is the HM250?
HM250 weighs 102 kg, so plan to move it with a trolley or two people.
Q: What lever force is needed?
Maximum lever force is 38 kg on HM50 and 40 kg on HM100 and HM250.
Q: Is it protected against overloading?
Yes, the jack is protected against overloading. It should still only be used within its rated capacity.
