The Yale AL is a lightweight aluminium ratchet lever hoist for technicians and engineers who carry their equipment across jobs — with the enclosed housing, hand lever and hand wheel all manufactured from high-quality aluminium, it combines low own weight with reliable performance, a hoist that should not be missing from any service truck. Precise needle bearings keep operating effort low, and a standard free-chaining device lets you quickly attach the load or pull chain through the hoist in either direction.

Aluminium housing, hand lever and hand wheel: All key external components manufactured from high-quality aluminium for low own weight — a significant advantage when the hoist needs to be carried over longer distances.
Low effort on hand lever: Precise needle bearings inside the gearbox keep operating effort low — just 20 daN at WLL for the 750 kg, 28 daN for the 3,000 kg.
Standard free-chaining device: Quickly attach the load or pull the chain through the hoist in both directions.
Cast-in chain guide: The chain guide is cast directly into the body to ensure faultless chain movement under load.
Alloyed steel link chain, zinc-plated: Load chain in accordance with national and international standards.

Yale is part of the Columbus McKinnon group. CE marked (EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC) and UKCA marked. All ratchet lever hoists with a capacity exceeding 750 kg can be used for load attachment in accordance with EN 12195. Supplied with Declaration of Conformity. LOLER 1998 thorough examinations are required every 12 months by a competent person.
