The Loadex high lift pallet truck moves pallets like a standard hand truck but also raises them much higher, bringing a load up to a comfortable working height. It is rated at 1,000 kg.
Use it where staff pick from or load onto a pallet by hand, so the top of the stack can be raised to waist height rather than having people bend to the floor, or for transferring loads onto benches, conveyors and machine beds. The capacity is lower than a standard 2,500 kg truck because the load is lifted higher, so check pallet weights before choosing it. For straightforward pallet moves at floor level, the Loadex standard euro truck is the better fit.
Key Features
- High lift — raises the load well above normal pallet truck height
- 1,000 kg capacity — rated for the load at full raised height
- Work positioning — brings the load to a comfortable height for hand picking and packing
- Better ergonomics — reduces bending and stooping during manual handling
- Doubles as a transport truck — moves pallets like a standard hand pallet truck

Suitable Applications
Picking and packing stations, assembly lines, production cells feeding machines, printing and paper handling, workshops loading benches, and warehouses where staff hand-load pallets and want to reduce bending.
How to Use
- Check the load is within 1,000 kg and stable on the pallet
- Enter the pallet fully with the forks lowered
- Move the load to the work area at low height
- Raise to the working height needed and check the truck is stable before working
- Lower the load before moving the truck again
Safety Information
- Never exceed the 1,000 kg capacity
- Do not travel with the load raised high, as the truck becomes less stable
- Only raise loads on level, firm floors
- Keep hands and feet clear of the lifting mechanism
- Never stand on the forks or use the truck to lift people
Inspection and Maintenance
Check before each use that the truck raises and lowers smoothly, holds height without creeping down, and has no hydraulic leaks or damage to the forks and lifting linkage. Because it raises loads to height, it should be thoroughly examined under LOLER 1998 at least every 12 months, and maintained under PUWER 1998.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is a high lift pallet truck used for?
Moving pallets like a standard truck, and raising them to a comfortable working height so staff are not bending to the floor.
Q: Why is the capacity 1,000 kg?
Lifting a load higher reduces stability, so high lift trucks are rated lower than standard trucks. Keep within the 1,000 kg rating.
Q: Can I move the truck with the load raised?
Lower the load before moving the truck. Travelling with the load raised makes the truck less stable.
Q: Does it replace a stacker?
No. A high lift truck positions loads at working height; it is not designed to place pallets into racking. For stacking, look at the Loadex fully electric stacker.
Q: Is it powered?
No, it is a manual truck.
Q: Does it need a LOLER examination?
As it lifts loads to height, it should be thoroughly examined under LOLER at least every 12 months.
