The HX10E is the electrically operated version of the Lifter HX scissor lift range. It raises loads of up to 1000kg to a working height of 800mm at the press of a button, turning a standard pallet into a waist-height workbench. The scissor geometry and battery-powered hydraulic pack remove the repeated pumping action of a manual high lift, which matters where the truck is raised and lowered many times a shift. Six configurations are available, covering fork lengths from 1150mm to 2000mm, a wide 680mm fork option, an integrated weigh scale model, and a stainless steel IP65-rated build for washdown areas.

Manufacturer Assurance

Lifter by Pramac is backed by over 40 years of material handling equipment manufacture. All Lifter by Pramac products are designed to meet 100% compliance with current standard regulations, and are subject to internal quality testing for reliability and durability.

Maximum lift height across the HX series is 800mm. The stainless model is supplied with stainless steel bearings and an IP65 rating for washdown environments.

Key Features

  • Electric lift to 800mm — the hydraulic pack is powered from the on-board battery, so the operator raises and lowers the load from the control head without pumping the tiller.
  • 1000kg capacity at full height — the scissor frame carries its full rated load throughout the lift range, not only at the lowered position.
  • Ergonomic working height — raising a pallet to 800mm brings the top of the load to a comfortable standing height, which reduces stooping during picking, packing and assembly work.
  • Five fork configurations — 1150mm as standard, a 680mm wide-fork variant for cages and wide stillages, and 1500mm, 1800mm and 2000mm long-fork models for oversized loads.
  • Integrated weigh scale option — the EI05E0V0000 build combines the lift function with on-board weighing, removing a separate trip to a floor scale.
  • Stainless steel IP65 build available — the EF0420VB4I0 model uses nylon wheels with stainless bearings for food, pharmaceutical and chemical areas subject to washdown.
  • Auto levelling and gel battery options — an automatic levelling system and a gel battery are available as factory options on the standard models.

Suitable Applications

The HX10E is specified where a pallet needs to be both moved and presented at working height. Common applications are order picking and packing benches, sub-assembly and kitting lines, mould and tool handling in workshops, and any repetitive de-palletising task where operators would otherwise be bending to floor level. It also works well as a mobile workbench in maintenance areas, where the raised forks support a component at a fixed height while it is worked on. The stainless IP65 model is intended for food production, dairy, pharmaceutical and chemical areas where the truck is washed down as part of the cleaning regime.

How to Use

  1. Check the battery charge and confirm the load is within the 1000kg rating.
  2. With the forks fully lowered, enter the pallet squarely and drive the forks fully home.
  3. Move the truck clear of the racking or bench before raising, and check overhead clearance.
  4. Press the raise control and lift the load to the required working height.
  5. Apply the stabiliser arrangement as set out in the operator manual before working at the raised position.
  6. Lower fully before travelling with the load, and lower fully again before withdrawing the forks.
  7. Return the truck to the charge point at the end of the shift.

Warning: Never travel with the forks raised. A scissor lift truck is stable only in the lowered position, and moving a load at height risks tipping. Never allow any part of the body under a raised load, and never exceed the 1000kg rated capacity.

Safety Information

  • Only trained and authorised operators should use a high lift truck.
  • Never place hands or feet inside the scissor mechanism at any point in the lift cycle.
  • Lower the forks fully before travelling, before leaving the truck unattended, and before charging.
  • Keep bystanders clear of the truck while it is being raised or lowered.
  • Charge only in a well-ventilated area, following the battery manufacturer's instructions.
  • Withdraw the truck from service if the forks creep down under load, if the hydraulic unit leaks, or if any guard is damaged or missing.

Inspection and Maintenance

Check the battery charge, the hydraulic unit and the scissor pivots before every shift, and confirm the forks hold position under load without creep. Keep the scissor pivots and load rollers clear of banding and wrap. Battery maintenance follows the type fitted: the standard battery and the optional gel battery have different charging and topping-up regimes, and the gel unit is maintenance free. As work equipment used to lift loads, an electric high lift truck falls under both PUWER and LOLER, so keep inspection records and arrange thorough examination at the required interval.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between the HX10E and the HX10M EVO?

Both lift 1000kg to 800mm. The HX10M EVO is manually pumped through the tiller, while the HX10E raises and lowers electrically from an on-board battery. The electric model is the right choice where the truck is raised many times a shift or where operator fatigue is a concern.

Q: Can the HX10E be used as a static workbench?

Yes. Raising a pallet or component to 800mm and working at that height is one of its main uses. Follow the stabilising procedure in the operator manual and do not move the truck while it is raised.

Q: Is the auto levelling system available on every model?

No. Automatic levelling is offered on the standard HX10E builds. It is not available on the stainless steel model or on the HX10 Agile EVO.

Q: What is the HX10 Agile EVO and how does it differ?

The Agile EVO is a fully electric high lift, adding powered travel to the powered lift so the operator neither pushes nor pumps. Capacity is 800kg rather than 1000kg, on 1150 x 540mm forks.

Q: Which model suits a washdown environment?

The EF0420VB4I0 stainless steel IP65 build, which uses nylon wheels with stainless steel bearings. The painted standard models are not suitable for regular washdown.
